Help: XML
There are a number of different newsfeeds available for this site:
- Full text — contains the last 15 entries from this blog.
- Bookmarks — contains the last 20 bookmarks posted to this site.
- Comments — contains the last 20 entries made to entries on this site.
If you view any of these feeds in a normal web browser, and find that they look weird, don’t panic. Newsfeeds are alternative representations of a site meant for use by aggregators and are not normally meant to be viewed directly in a web browser. An aggregator enables you to subscribe to the content of this site, and be automatically notified of new entries, updates and comments.
Instead of clicking on the URLs, you should rather copy the URL from the link in whatever means your browser offers (often via right-clicking the link), and use whatever means your newsreader offers.
News reader software
If you do not yet have news reader software (also often called an aggregator), any of these can be used:
- Opera (Multiple platforms)
- BlogLines (Web based)
- FeedDemon (Windows)
- FeedReader (Windows)
- NetNewsWire (Mac OSX)
- NNTP//RSS (Cross-platform)
- RssBandit (Windows)
- SharpReader (Windows)
