The first blogging software I touched was Movable Type. My introduction to blogging was through Movable Type. First, I started blogging in a Norwegian (now defunct) MT-driven community blog named Liksom.

RevisionPlugin allows you to keep a version history of your weblog entries. It tracks”main entry” and “extended entry”. It also allows you to browse the diffs by using your individual archive template.

Just a short note, I have updated my almost two-year old entry on how to make target=”_blank” go away in Movable Type to reflect reality:
- The line number to modify in Context.pm recent versions of Movable type has been added.
- I have also added the method I actually recommend: Using the Switch plugin to create an equivalent of
<MTEntryAuthorLink show_email="0" />with notargetattached.
