There's gotta be more to canvas ...
… and indeed, it is. The Opera Web Applications Team Blog is now open for business.
The first post is about some extensions we’ve made to canvas allowing authors to:
- Get and set colors of individual pixels.
- Perform collision detection in native code.
- Canvas locking: Being in total control over when the canvas renders.
As for later posts on the blog: We are planning on covering facets of web development that should be of interest, both to Opera fans and foes. Both Opera-specific content, and more general web oriented content.
