What can they do with all that? Just about anything that collection of Ph.Ds can dream up.

I just cant imagine how easy things are gonna be at that time……
I am sure Google will leave microsoft way back as soon as people get the GooOS!

It would be so amazing. While Microsoft’s Palladium system (they changed it’s name to strange acronym) lock u down, Google OS will really show what’s the use of all those always going cheaper broadband connection. I’m waiting…..

Google is by far the greatest serach engine, Mail service, map/satelite creation tools, and advertising space provider on the net.
Microsoft is afraid of google, with good reason. I for one would run a Text-based OS if googles intelegent and throughal programers
Gooos, if programed correctly for maxiumum compatability and speed, with low “resource-sucking” programs. Remains free of charge, and resembles googles other software. Will rise to #1 used OS. And my business will be hte first to use their OS
Google into the future.
PS: Nice job sticking it to the american government with the whole china thing! :)

Mac OSX might still be better, but anything against Microsoft and Windows is enough for me. I love Google, but am Mac lover. We wil see.

u can never ever say anything and something u have not yet seen. Maybe Google OS will be much like mac or it could even be better…
one thing abt which i think i am sure is that Microsoft is no hurdle for GooOs!!! Even heardthat its gonna be a freeware!!

Yeah, i guess your right; but still, Mac was the original and will stay the original. All Microsoft could do then (and now) is rip off Mac, so no worries about Windows. Again, we’ll see what happens.
P.S. If it is gonna be freeware, tell me where you foud that out, and if not, at least tell me the release date.

Is this GooOS thing for real? If it is and is lean enough, I’d love to put it on my craptop (266 MHz Pent II, 64 MB RAM, 4 GB HDD). I agree that MS Palladium needs to die. It gives them too much control over what we do with our own computers.
