Experimental not-Echo
I’ve added a highly experimental not-Echo feed. It is a unified feed that contains both entries, comments and trackbacks.
Instead of basing it on the 2003-07-01 snapshot, I have based it on the 2003-07-08 version. This means that the feed will not validate with the Feed Validator.
The feed is available here — and I’ve made the MT Template available for download. The template requires the following plugins to work: Switch and SetVarBlock.
For those who grab the template: The feed contains some hardcoded values, so you’ll have to modify it by hand.
You’re free to comment here, although it is encouraged that you participate in the Not-Echo Wiki

Hi,
You experimental feed has some encoding problems.
you better make certain that it passes UTF8 encoding.
I have for instance a XSLT transformation which directly transforms an OPML/XML file with a mix of 120 links of the type RSS2, RSS1/RDF and ATOM(the BIG 3) feeds. Six out of these 120 amonmg which is yoursfales the msxml3 parser.
Also when opening your file in IE it gives an error for the euro symbol to start with.
Before launching the file you might check this.

Some of the problems you’ve seen are inherent problems with Movable Type, or at least the way it is set up here, since the output formatting plugin I’m using, Textile, is intent on producing named instead of numeric entities - I might ask the author of that plugin, Brad Choate, for a solution.
There were a couple of other problems as well, but they should be adressed now (at least the XML parser in Opera doesn’t choke any more).
